Mercedes Benz Atrium, Milton Keynes
DLA Architects Practice were commissioned by Mercedes-Benz to deliver a major refurbishment of their Main Entrance foyer at MB’s UK and Ireland Finance HQ in Milton Keynes. Specifically designed elements included large vibrant image screens and smart-video walls, all interwoven with MB’s logos and latest marketing themes. A new café was created with relaxed seating areas as well as semi-private meeting pods. The entrance arrangements were all designed with security and ease of access in mind.
CMK Libraries, Milton Keynes
Built in 1980, Central Milton Keynes Library was listed Grade II in 2015. DLA Architects Practice were tasked with preparing a sensitive interior design to refresh the main foyer and reception in this much loved, much used building. DLA AP proposed a reorganisation of functions to create an open welcoming space which anticipates the evolving future of the library service. The new flooring with its accent colours has enlivened a previously cluttered space, allowing the soaring double height space to be fully expressed and enjoyed.
Pharmaceutical Campus, Milton Keynes
As part of intensification and relocation plans for their Milton Keynes campus, this multi-national pharmaceutical company commissioned DLA Architects Practice to re-design the interiors of a large laboratory building to create 2 full floors of modern office accommodation. DLA AP’s comprehensive refurbishment proposals provide exciting new facilities including break-out areas, kitchen spaces, meeting rooms and executive offices. These new offices will allow emerging businesses to flourish as new products are launched, keeping Milton Keynes at the forefront of the company’s worldwide growth strategy.
